Golf Tip of the Month

This months golf tip is in regard to the swing plane.  There are 5 points in a golf swing where the club is parallel to the ground.  Once on the take away, once at the top of the backswing, once on the forward swing (pre impact), once on the follow through, and once when the club is finished.  At each of these parallel points, the club should be parallel to the target line.  Or more simply:  "every time the club reaches parallel to the ground, the shaft line must be parallel to the target line".  This quote is attributable to Earnest Jones, and it is a cornerstone to his teaching philosophy.  Check your parallels and you will be on a path to more good swings.
